See Me, See You: Early Video Installation of Southeast Asia stages and recreates pivotal artworks by ten artists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Their experiments with the moving image, alongside installation, performance and audience participation, marked the emergence of video installation in the region in the 1980s and 1990s. The first instalment of this exhibition showcases works by Apinan Poshyananda, Baharudin Mohd Arus, Chng Nai Wee, Johnny Manahan and Jean Marie Syjuco, while the second instalment features works by Heri Dono, Hasnul Saidon, Ray Langenbach, Vincent Leow and Krisna Murti.
